Man, there's something about playing a game run by its AI. I don't know why, but I love those types of self-playing games, and I really enjoy this one. The art style is appealing, the system of progression is simple enough, and from what I've seen, it's a very pleasant casual game. As soon as I can, I'm gonna download the full version~

Good grief! I've seen a bit of your other work, but your ability to create texture with pixels really shines through here. You can really get a feel (hah) for how the foods would feel if you ran your finger over them, especially the ridges of the croissant, the scales on the taiyaki, and the smooth skin of the turtle bread.

Not only are they unified in their color scheme, they're of very similar size and orientation. Yes, they're a set, so that's par for the course, but it's a set executed well.

I like the frames, too. They look like they could be items in one of those sort of tongue-in-cheek JRPGs like Dragon Quest or something.

And of course, they look quite delicious. Marvelous~

I've always had a soft spot for very clean pixel art. Despite your using only five colors, no areas of the piece feel muddled, even though you manage to fit in a fair amount of detail like texture and complex lighting. It's a very well-executed piece. Kudos~

Really enjoy the crisp lineart and simple coloring (that's often standard for tattoos, but still~). For some reason, the color scheme reminds me of comics from the 80s, especially the olive-yellow color for the skull and the washed out blue for the hair's highlights. The texture from the brush lends a definite tangibility to the outlines, and I like the stippling effect used for depth. Also, I'm a fan of skulls, so that's another plus from me. I hope your friend loves it!
